Does this cost anything?

No. This calculator is a web page — there is no App Store purchase, no account, and no subscription. It opens in Safari or Chrome on iPhone, iPad, and Mac, and the Google Maps check is free, exactly like in the Excel workbook. Your rates and quote history are saved in this browser on this device; use Export / Import under My Rates to back them up or move them between devices.

NJ statutory fees follow N.J.A.C. 17:50-1.18: $2.50 per act, $15 flat only for grantor acts in a single real-estate transfer, and $25 flat only for mortgagor acts in a single real-estate financing. The fee check on each quote is a warning, not a legal determination — confirm the transaction type before quoting.
